So What is Life Coaching?

life coaching

Coaching is a dialogue between client and coach where they work together on issues and jointly construct a solution.

The aim of coaching is to maximize potential using the clients own experience to learn.

This builds upon strengths and focuses on the present and future to produce measurable results.

Life coaching works with the client to identify specific goals.

The most common issues include:

  • Career Change.
  • Relationship Problems.
  • Time Management.
  • Decision Making.
  • Handling Criticism Constructively.
  • Problem Solving
  • Relationship Skills.

Can I have the same coach & counselor?

No, it's not possible to work with a client in a coaching capacity if they previously used our counselling services and vice versa.

There is a clear ethical distinction between the roles of Coach and Counsellor.

Our Professional body BACP issues guidance that to be both Counsellor and Coach would be a " Professional Conflict,"should this arise we will recommend an alternative service.
